3 things your coach should be doing

Three ways to tell if you're with the right coach

Here’s a few things your coach should be doing:

  1. Your coach should do a thorough consult with you including measurements range of Motion and ability. Your body is in their hands – They should know EVERYTHING about you from food allergies to when you’re on your menstrual cycle, it all matters.
  2. Your coach should keep in regular contact and make sure you are adhering to the structure they have set out. Letting YOU get away with procrastination ISN’T acceptable.l, I keep my clients on track by using my Online Coaching Platform to log their results on a DAILY basis.
  3. Your coach should not push you beyond your level of capability. If you’re feeling REALLY uncomfortable both physically, mentally and emotionally it’s TOO hard – STOP!

If your Trainer isn’t doing these you need to stop and ask them why. Too many trainers are more interested in themselves and talking shit than getting you the results you want. – PULL THEM!

Coaching is a massive responsibility and it needs to be treated as such, there is no place for second rate coaching in society, would you want a second rate surgeon or dentist? HELL NO! The industry has blown up over the years with more and more “PT’S” getting pumped out of training academies with and put straight into the public domain without shadowing or having significant experience behind them. This can blind side the public leaving them unsure who to trust, what service to choose and how much to pay…train with someone that fits you.

For example if you came to me wanting to get shredded for a photo shoot or a competition I’d politely turn you away because I’d much rather spend my time helping a completely anxious woman with low confidence lose weight, drop a couple of dress sizes, boost her confidence through the roof and give her a routine and structure to last a life time.

Quite simply that means so much more to me.
